Our History

Decades of CRAFT

In 2009, we celebrated our 50th anniversary. And rather than rest on our laurels, we’ve only increased our commitment to the highest quality machining and fabrication services that make Craft a market leader. Founded in a humble garage in Hampton, Virginia, we’ve evolved into a company recognized for excellence throughout the US and the world.

After receiving a major government contract to design, build, test and deliver 23 portal cranes, Craft was on its way to becoming a trusted supplier for defense, government and energy customers.

1990s

Using vertically integrated manufacturing steps and our advanced CNC equipment, Craft expanded its capabilities and expertise for complex fabrication and assembly.

2000s

As a provider of pre-machining, fabricating, stress-relieving, final machining, testing and finishing, Craft has become known for its complex welded and machined components.
